NDIS
What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a scheme of the Australian Government, implemented by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), that funds costs associated with people living with a disability.
How can the NDIS help you?
The NDIS provides individualised packages to support people living with a disability, their families and carers. The NDIS works with people with disability to identify supports they need to live their life and develop a plan to fund these supports. Supports may help you achieve goals in many aspects of your life, including:
- Independence
- Involvement in your community
- Education
- Employment
- Health and wellbeing
The NDIS gives you choice and control over how, when and where your supports are provided. The NDIS funds reasonable and necessary supports that will help you achieve your goals.
Maximise Your NDIS Funds With Support Coordination
Coordinators can help you make the most of your NDIS budget. They will work with you to connect with the right disability support services, gradually building your capacity & confidence to implement your plan on your own.
